2017 Salt Spring National Art Prize Award Winners

Congratulations to all the Finalists for your outstanding work, and to the Award Winners of 2019/20 Salt Spring National Art Prize!

52 finalists were selected by an independent jury to participate in the Finalists’ Exhibition on Salt Spring Island. All artist submissions were anonymous to the jury.

Finalists were selected to win one of ten awards, six selected by jurors and four selected by public vote, for a total of $39,000 in awards. The award winners were announced at the Gala Awards Night on Saturday, October 19, 2019.

SALT SPRING PRIZE – THE JOAN McCONNELL AWARD + RESIDENCY FOR OUTSTANDING WORK
$20,000 ($15,000 and a $5,000 Salt Spring Island artist residency)
